On September 25, 2015, all United Nations Member States came together to adopt the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a bold and transformative plan to address the world’s most pressing challenges. At the heart of this agenda are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), designed to end poverty, fight inequality, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all people. Each goal includes specific, measurable targets to be achieved by the year 2030, guiding global efforts to create a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future for generations to come.
