 Vesselina Haralampieva is Principal Counsel in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) Office of the General Counsel (OGC) in London, UK. Vesselina is the sustainable energy and resources law specialist in the Legal Transition Team of EBRD in charge of leading technical assistance projects focused on promoting green energy and sustainable development in a number of EBRD countries of operations through a mix of policy, legal and regulatory instruments. She has led the work assisting the Government of Georgia to develop the first National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP) in Georgia, jointly with her colleague Remon Zakaria, and will continue supporting the Government with the development of the primary legal framework for energy efficiency.
