Dr. Odette (Odeeth) Lara-Morales, VoFG CI Programme Manager, is also a Lecturer in Indigenous Entrepreneurship at United College, University of Waterloo, an Associate Fellow at the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law (CISDL), and a Project Officer with the United Nations Association in Canada. Dr. Lara-Morales is a Nahua Indigenous descendant from Mexico, deeply committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting ecological and cultural preservation, gender equality, and poverty reduction in Indigenous communities.

In addition to her academic and professional roles, Dr. Lara-Morales has significant experience working with and mentoring youth. She is passionate about empowering young people to become active leaders in building sustainable, inclusive, and resilient communities.
